Within a dotted square, ‘lā ilāha illā / Allāh waḥdahū / lā sharīka lahū’ (‘There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him’ in Arabic); double-trident tamgha of Möngke in the center; date formula in the margin, of which the month of ‘Rabīʿ al-Awwal’ (in Arabic) is legible. Rev. Within a dotted square, ‘Mūnakkā qā/ʾān al-aʿẓam / al-ʿādil’ (‘Möngke, the Supreme Khan, the Just’ in Arabic); mint formula in the margin, of which ‘al-dirham – bi Tiflīs’ (‘dirham in Tiflis’ in Arabic) is legible.
